Better than Sears??

What do you think of Mom and Dad's portrait studio shots - we think Sears would be better, but we do like trying!!

Smiling is starting, although Mom and Dad haven't yet been able to capture it on film. One of these days though....

From Avery - Grandma Lowe is visiting from Ohio, and she's spoiling me rotten! She sings to me, feeds me and just loves me to death. We've been to dinner, lunches, to the art museum and shopping. We'll be sad to see her go! Here she is meeting me for the first time at the airport and then taking a nap at home.

Forgot to mention yesterday...

Avery slept thru the whole night, yes the whole night on Tuesday! We put her down about 9:30 p.m. and she woke up just as our alarm went off around 6 a.m. We were astonished! Last night wasn't as good...went to bed around 9:30, up at 2:45, up again at 6....oh well, a full night sleep once in a while is nothing to complain about!

First "real" bath and weight update

Avery had her first real bath, in the bathtub and not on the counter laying on towels. She loved it! No crying, no fussing, and she looked super adorable just laid out letting Mommy clean her up. She had peed all over herself again while being changed - she's now done that about 3 times! But we can't complain - bath time is going to be fun! Daddy, Grandma and Auntie Kari were on hand to see the first bath! (Photos edited for nudity, of course!)

She also got weighed today - 10 lb. and 1 oz. She's growing!!!

OMG - Avery is already 5 weeks old!

How did time fly by so fast??!! Our little girl is already five weeks old, craziness! She's still eating well and sleeping well. Two nights this past week we had 7 hours straight. AWESOME! We've sinced dropped back to between 5-6 hours, but those two 7 hour nights were fantastic. We've been doing dinners out with her and she's a total angel. No crying or fussing for the most part, she just usually snoozes while Daddy and I eat. We've been practicing with the bottle more, but she's still a pretty messy eater (evidenced below). Here are the most recent pictures we have - she's getting cuter and cuter!
