Well, let me just say - breast feeding is hard! But I went to the lactation consultant for a follow up today and she ate 1.5 oz while we were there, so I'm obvioulsy doing something right! And, on top of that, we took her by the pediatricians office yesterday to borrow their scale and she has gained 6+ oz. since her first peds appt. last Thursday. So we're on a roll! She now weighs 8 lb. and 1/2 oz. Already got chubby little cheeks and is just adorable. I'm still recovering from the c-section. Mainly I have some soreness and tenderness, but each day gets better.

Our special girl had tons of visitors. My grandfather's funeral was the day after she was born, so I think she helped people during that difficult time. Lots of family came to visit her.
